Our Inspiration

Following the successful launch of Bluebottle Beer in March 07, Firefly Beer in the second release in a range of multi-award winning beers by Fusion Brewing. All of Fusion Brewing's boutique beers are designed to complement specific food occasions.

 

Where wine varieties are often retrospectively matched to specific foods, the creation of Firefly Beer was driven by our continued belief that beer has the same opportunity to complement food. Firefly Beer is designed to be the perfect complement to spicy foods.

 

To this aim, we’ve utilised the decades of gastronomic expertise of former chef and renowned author Matthew Evans, coupled with the skills of award-winning master brewer Brian Watson.

 

After a year of taste testing and flavour tweaking Firefly was launched as the perfect beer to complement spicy meals.
